About This Activity
Zero Waste Sprint is the second half of Chapter 3, Corrective Action and Process Improvement. Twenty questions, twenty minutes, one mark each — and a perfect 20 / 20 is the only pass.
Every question is taken directly from the Lean section of the lecture slides: what Lean is, value and waste, value-added and non-value-added work, the eight wastes of DOWNTIME, MUDA / MURA / MURI, Jidoka, Andon, Kaizen and 5S. A wrong answer is never explained and the correct one is never shown, so the way through is to go back to the slides and study the point you missed. Attempts are unlimited and the questions change each time.
